Former Navy Seal Benjamin Smith takes his inspiring message to CPAC 2013 in Washington.

I PICKED UP THIS STORY TONIGHT AS I RUMMAGED THROUGH THE INTERNET TO SEE WHAT OF SIGNIFICANCE WAS HAPPENING TO PEOPLE WHO CARED DEEPLY ABOUT AMERICA.

I FOUND THIS. I STOPPED AND BEGAN TO READ. I WAS MORE THAN IMPRESSED. I CHOPPED IT OUT AND PUT IT HERE. I DON'T KNOW A LOT ABOUT THIS, BUT I DO KNOW IT'S MY FRIEND BENJAMIN SMITH, FORMER NAVY SEAL, DOING HIS THING FOR THE CAUSE.

BEN HAS BEEN HITTING THE TALK CIRCUIT OF LATE. HIS STUMP SPEECH HAS MATURED. HE HAS A LOT TO SAY AND SAYS IT WELL.

THIS WAS DELIVERED AT CPAC 2013, AS I UNDERSTAND IT. THAT IS A PREMIER VENUE FOR ANY PASSIONATE CONSERVATIVE ACTIVIST, WHICH CERTAINLY DESCRIBES BEN.

HERE'S PART OF WHAT HE SAID:

   Here, the people yearn for a leader, someone to STAND and Take Charge,..... (The air tastes of it and eyes betray fear, anger and confusion) ... Someone to state or ponder the questions of that all feel, even if it means putting themselves upon the pyre of public scrutiny and scorn. They are looking for someone to say the hard truths then give marching orders in how to go about dismantling this immoral, governmental, religious, socialist, sharia scourge of the base human frailty that has, over time, been corrupted through and through save the Patriotic remnants (us) of a once bold and just America.Our supposed leaders talk and say huge amounts of words to merely touch on problems and get cheers from there adoring fans but none of them are getting anywhere close to the factual analysis of what we may have in our midst....... There is a mindset, an un-American un-Holy mindset that has taken hold of our government (both by our own ignorance and an evil design). No one looks to solve them while empowering and educating the hordes of American Citizens who thirst for even one iota of an AMERICAN LEADERSHIP.At what point does disagreement become opposition?At what point does feigning coy become malicious intent?At what point does "they don't know what they are doing turn into "they meant it all along"?At what point after hearing them tell us what they want to do to us and then following through on it will history say "how did no-one see this coming, they told their people what they were going to do to them and how."People see the absence of leadership from our politicians, White House and the whole Government in general AND ESPECIALLY THEIR ELECTED REPUBLICANS....... Don't exclude a good helping of the movement leaders . There is angst, an uncertainty that pervades each person here. We all see it, no-one is saying it or simply asking the questions....... What if the government is not on our side? Our leaders are not leading, they are weak and intentionally so......
   1. Simple Question...... would you call this administration socialist or at least with huge socialist overtones?
   2. STILL THINK YOU WON THE COLD WAR? Verne: Ben, I believe, was addressing a group gathered to honor the late conservative icon Andrew Breitbart. Had no opportunity to get this text cleanly, as you may notice from the stray paragraph numbers I couldn't seem to get rid of. But the powerful language and clear message were enough to cause me to use it.

   You get the gist of it. I feel Ben has arrived. I have heard him speak to groups a few times. You have to know he has seen it, lived it, survived it, and knows what he's talking about. 
   
   I am going to ask Ben to get me the rest of this speech text, and if I can get it I'll be proud to use it. I apologize to him for doing such a poor job of showing this off as I should have.
