Jude Eden, personal friend and talented conservative activist, helped me deal with the scam which struck just this morning via my Facebook account. She did considerable research to determine what the source was for the bogus initiative. She found the accompanying article posted by the FBI. It seems to match the problem which I experienced although no attachments were included there were no prompts seeking additional information. They failed there. Many thanks to Jude for providing this insight. Makes me feel a little better. Again, thanks to many conservative Internet friends who offered support and encouragement. What  a team!

The FBI has recently developed information indicating cyber criminals are attempting to once again send fraudulent e-mails to unsuspecting recipients stating that someone has filed a complaint against them or their company with the Department of Justice or another organization such as the Internal Revenue Service, Social Security Administration, or the Better Business Bureau.

Information obtained during the FBI investigation has been provided to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). DHS has taken steps to alert their public and private sector partners with the release of a Critical Infrastructure Information Notice (CIIN).

The e-mails are intended to appear as legitimate messages from the above departments, and they address the recipients by name, and other personal information may be contained within the e-mail. Consistent with previous efforts, the scam will likely be an effort to secure Personally Identifiable Information. The nature of these types of scams is to create a sense of urgency for the recipient to provide a response through clicking on a hyperlink, opening an attachment, or initiating a telephone call.

It is believed this e-mail refers to a complaint that is in the form of an attachment, which actually contains virus software designed to steal passwords from the recipient. The virus is wrapped in a screensaver file wherein most anti-virus programs are unable to detect its malicious intent. Once downloaded, the virus is designed to monitor username and password logins, and record the activity, as well as other password-type information, entered on the compromised machine.

“Through FBI investigations we frequently uncover information about ongoing cyber attacks and scams. We share this information through our partnership with DHS to alert the public and the private sector,” noted James E. Finch, Assistant Director of the FBI’s Cyber Division.

Be wary of any e-mail received from an unknown sender. Do not open any unsolicited e-mail and do not click on any links provided. After contacts today with Senator Burr's office (by Rhonda Amoroso and Nancy Brice) and with Congressman McInyre's office (by suspected spy and rowdy man Verne Strickland) there is every prospect that all this was a hoax! John Dismukes also contacted me from the road, and voiced the same impression, noting that one of the regs cited in the bogus email attributed to HSD and FBI has not been signed into law. I thought that was some good work, and very swift.

Thanks to all who wrote in voicing support. There were many. I'm pleased at your taking the time and effort to do this, and happy that the heat's off. My contact with McInyre's associate was recorded for posterity, and I will post some of the verbatim transcript after I have committed it to my computer. It was quite revealing, and does little to shore up my chronic displeasure with this man. Maybe this will get me into the trouble I so richly deserve. Also, I intend to reach out to Congressman Walter Jones, with whom I'm well-acquainted (knew his distinguished father as well) to alert him to this unusual incident.

I am not dropping this, and suspect some laws may have been broken by anyone using the Internet speaking erroneously in behalf of the FBI and Homeland Security. Stories to follow on all of this. Again, you guys are super pals -- just great -- and I feel that this false alarm may have been a good fire drill for the committed warriors that you are. God bless all. We're a team. Obama to Attend Planned Parenthood Event as Kermit Gosnell Trial continues.

President Barack Obama will attend a Planned Parenthood fundraising gala on Thursday — as defense lawyers for abortion practitioner Kermit Gosnell defend him from murder charges in court.

According to the publicly-announced schedule for the week, Obama will hobnob with leaders of the abortion giant on Thursday after attending the opening of the center for pro-life President George W. Bush.



“On Thursday, the president and the first lady will attend the dedication ceremony of the George W. Bush Presidential Center. Later in the day, they will return to Washington, D.C., and later in the evening, the president will attend the Planned Parenthood Gala,” the White House announced.

In a statement accompanying the new schedule, Obama said he hopes the nation will return to normalcy following the Boston Marathon bombing.

“All in all, this has been a tough week,” Obama said late Friday at the White House. “But we’ve seen the character of our country once more. And as president, I’m confident that we have the courage and the resilience and the spirit to overcome these challenges — and to go forward, as one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Justice for all apparently doesn’t include unborn children Planned Parenthood kills in abortions. Last week, Obama refused to comment on the ongoing murder trial of abortion practitioner Kermit Gosnell. Obama’s refusal to weigh in on the case comes after his White House spokesman refused to comment on or condemn the “beheadings” Gosnell did and oversaw at his abortion clinic.

The NBC Today show asked Obama: “Have you been watching the Gosnell trial? It’s a Philadelphia abortion doctor accused of gruesome crimes. Are you following it, and do you think it animates a larger debate about abortion in this country?”

“Well, I’m familiar with it. I can’t comment on it because it’s an active trial,” said Obama. “What I can say is this: I think President Clinton said it pretty well when he said abortion should be safe, legal, and rare. If an individual carrying out an abortion, operating a clinic, or doing anything else is violating medical ethics, violating the law, then they should be prosecuted.”

Since last week when the Obama Administration and its media were forced to acknowledge the bombing in Boston was a terrorist act NOT carried out by the TEA party or the Klu Klux Klan, but rather by adherent Muslims, we have heard a stream of verbal gymnastics trying to absolve the murderers and somehow blame America for the carnage in Boston.

We’ve heard from the Muslim apologist crowd – bearded fake intellectuals with pipes, elbow patches and the like – speaking in a halting meter to make it seem like every word is worth carving on Mount Rushmore.
Their sophistry, saying “who radicalized them?” and “young men struggling to fit into a strange new culture” or “just young men trying to be heard” does us no good.
What we need now is truth not feel good, “all cultures have good and bad” relativism.
Only the truth can help us learn from what has happened – lies don’t cut it. The truth is these two punks fell for the lies in the Qur’an’s verses of the sword.
These verses told them to kill non Muslins (2:191-193) (2:244) (2:216) ( 3:56) and commit any number of criminal acts in the name of the so-called “religion of peace.”

The word “terror” is actually in the qur’an (surah 8-12) in the common meaning of the word: “Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers…”
Surah 4:74 exalts Muslims to do battle with “non-believers” secure in the knowledge that if they are killed they will be rewarded in paradise, thus providing the grounds for educated Muslims to talk the uneducated Muslim into becoming suicide bombers.
In keeping with the general tone of subtle deception in the Qur’an “allah” orders faithful Muslims to kill and maim those who are enemies. Surah 5:33 says, “they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides…” This is why the ball bearing bombs were arranged so they would rip the legs off of the runners and spectators in Boston.
The Quar’an is filled with commands to lie, kill and steal to maim and enslave non-believers. The media won’t tell us this because it would raise the question of why we are making believe all of this is untrue.
In three minutes anyone can find this material on line. It is a certainty that those who tell us Islam is a “religion of peace” are lying and know they are lying. The question is always, what can we do about it?

Tamerlan Tsarnaev killed. His brother Dzhokhar captured

The big questions buzzing over Boston Bombers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev have a single answer: It emerged in the 102 tense hours between the twin Boston Marathon bombings Monday, April 15 – which left three dead, 180 injured and a police officer killed at MIT - and Dzohkhar’s capture Friday, April 19 in Watertown.
The conclusion reached by debkafile’s counterterrorism and intelligence sources is that the brothers were double agents, hired by US and Saudi intelligence to penetrate the Wahhabi jihadist networks which, helped by Saudi financial institutions, had spread across the restive Russian Caucasian. Instead, the two former Chechens betrayed their mission and went secretly over to the radical Islamist networks.


 

 By this tortuous path, the brothers earned the dubious distinction of being the first terrorist operatives to import al Qaeda terror to the United States through a winding route outside the Middle East – the Caucasus.
This broad region encompasses the autonomous or semi-autonomous Muslim republics of Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Chechnya, North Ossetia and Karachyevo-Cherkesiya, most of which the West has never heard of.
Moscow however keeps these republics on a tight military and intelligence leash, constantly putting down violent resistance by the Wahhabist cells, which draw support from certain Saudi sources and funds from the Riyadh government for building Wahhabist mosques and schools to disseminate the state religion of Saudi Arabia.
The Saudis feared that their convoluted involvement in the Caucasus would come embarrassingly to light when a Saudi student was questioned about his involvement in the bombng attacks while in a Boston hospital with badly burned hands.
They were concerned to enough to send Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saudi al-Faisal to Washington Wednesday, April 17, in the middle of the Boston Marathon bombing crisis, for a private conversation with President Barack Obama and his national security adviser Tom Donilon on how to handle the Saudi angle of the bombing attack.
That day too, official Saudi domestic media launched an extraordinary three-day campaign. National and religious figures stood up and maintained that authentic Saudi Wahhabism does not espouse any form of terrorism or suicide jihadism and the national Saudi religion had nothing to do with the violence in Boston.  “No matter what the nationality and religious of the perpetrators, they are terrorists and deviants who represent no one but themselves.”
Prince Saud was on a mission to clear the 30,000 Saudi students in America of suspicion of engaging in terrorism for their country or religion, a taint which still lingers twelve years after 9/11. He was concerned that exposure of the Tsarnaev brothers’ connections with Wahhabist groups in the Caucasus would revive the stigma.
The Tsarnaevs' recruitment by US intelligence as penetration agents against terrorist networks in southern Russia explains some otherwise baffling features of the event:
1.  An elite American college in Cambridge admitted younger brother Dzhokhar and granted him a $2,500 scholarship, without subjecting him to the exceptionally stiff standard conditions of admission. This may be explained by his older brother Tamerlan demanding this privilege for his kid brother in part payment for recruitment.
2.  When in 2011, a “foreign government” (Russian intelligence) asked the FBI to screen Tamerlan for suspected ties to Caucasian Wahhabist cells during a period in which they had begun pledging allegiance to al Qaeda, the agency, it was officially revealed, found nothing incriminating against him and let him go after a short interview.
He was not placed under surveillance. Neither was there any attempt to hide the fact that he paid a long visit to Russia last year and on his return began promoting radical Islam on social media.
Yet even after the Boston marathon bombings, when law enforcement agencies, heavily reinforced by federal and state personnel, desperately hunted the perpetrators, Tamerlan Tsarnaev was never mentioned as a possible suspect
3.  Friday, four days after the twin explosions at the marathon finishing line, the FBI released footage of Suspect No. 1 in a black hat and Suspect No. 2 in a white hat walking briskly away from the crime scene, and appealed to the public to help the authorities identify the pair.
We now know this was a charade. The authorities knew exactly who they were. Suddenly, during the police pursuit of their getaway car from the MIT campus on Friday, they were fully identified. The brother who was killed in the chase was named Tamerlan, aged 26, and the one who escaped, only to be hunted down Saturday night hiding in a boat, was 19-year old Dzhokhar.
Our intelligence sources say that we may never know more than we do today about the Boston terrorist outrage which shook America – and most strikingly, Washington - this week. We may not have the full story of when and how the Chechen brothers were recruited by US intelligence as penetration agents – any more than we have got to the bottom of tales of other American double agents who turned coat and bit their recruiters.
Here is just a short list of some of the Chechen brothers’ two-faced predecessors:
In the 1980s, an Egyptian called Ali Abdul Saoud Mohamed offered his services as a spy to the CIA residence in Cairo. He was hired, even though he was at the time the official interpreter of Ayman al-Zuwahiri, then Osama bin Laden’s senior lieutenant and currently his successor.
He accounted for this by posing as a defector. But then, he turned out to be feeding al Qaeda US military secrets. Later, he was charged with Al Qaeda’s 1998 bombings of US embassies in Nairobi and Dar es-Salaam.
On Dec. 30, 2009, the Jordanian physician Humam Khalil al-Balawi, having gained the trust of US intelligence in Afghanistan as an agent capable of penetrating al Qaeda’s top ranks, detonated a bomb at a prearranged rendezvous in Kost, killing the four top CIA agents in the country.
Then, there was the French Muslim Mohamed Merah. He was recruited by French intelligence to penetrate Islamist terror cells in at least eight countries, including the Caucasus. At the end of last year, he revealed his true spots in deadly attacks on a Jewish school in Toulouse and a group of French military commandoes.
The debate has begun over the interrogation of the captured Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarmayev when he is fit for questioning after surgery for two bullet wounds and loss of blood. The first was inflicted during the police chase in which his brother Tamerlan was killed.
An ordinary suspect would be read his rights (Miranda) and be permitted a lawyer. In his case, the “public safety exemption” option may be invoked, permitting him to be questioned without those rights, provided the interrogation is restricted to immediate public safety concerns. President Barack Obama is also entitled to rule him an “enemy combatant” and so refer him to a military tribunal and unrestricted grilling.
According to debkafile’s counter terror sources, four questions should top the interrogators' agenda:
a) At what date did the Tsarnaev brothers turn coat and decide to work for Caucasian Wahhabi networks?
b) Did they round up recruits for those networks in the United States - particularly, among the Caucasian and Saudi communities?
c)  What was the exact purpose of the Boston Marathon bombings and their aftermath at MIT in Watertown?
d) Are any more terrorist attacks in the works in other American cities?

Rewarding Hate, Intolerance, and Broken Promises – With Taxpayer Dollars

Just days after President Obama left Israel, we learned that his administration quietly gave the green light to giving  nearly $500 million in taxpayer-funded aid to the Palestinian Authority.
The administration’s memory must be short.
Roughly four months ago, the Palestinian Authority defied the Oslo Accords – and the U.S.  – by seeking and gaining non-member observer state status at the United Nations.
Just weeks ago – right before President Obama’s visit – the Palestinian Authority’s ruling Fatah party met with representatives from Hamas to implement the long-promised Palestinian “unity government” that would render the Palestinian people formally and officially terrorist-led.
Taken together with President Obama’s recent gift of $250 million to Muslim Brotherhood-led Egypt, America’s taxpayers are now on the hook for three-quarters of a billion dollars in sequester-era stimulus for radical foreign governments with recent records of defying America and breaking treaties.
It is difficult to overstate the absurdity of these gifts.  The Palestinian Authority’s hostility to Israel stretches back to its founding – and before.  In fact, the PA’s founding father, Yasser Arafat, had a record of terrorism and bloodshed unmatched until Usama bin Laden burst onto the scene in the late 1990s.
Among his many transgressions, Arafat was involved in the 1972 Munich Olympic Massacre and the 1973 attack on the U.S. Embassy in Sudan, where the U.S. Ambassador was murdered.  His reign of terror against Israel killed more Israeli civilians – on a per capita basis – than were killed during Bin Laden’s 9/11 terrorist attack against the U.S.
Yet President Obama spoke to Palestinians while standing under a banner featuring Arafat’s portrait.
The modern Palestinian Authority certainly became less violent once Israel erected the West Bank fence and militarily crushed its worst terrorist elements during the Second Intifada, but it still celebrates suicide bombers and draws its own maps and monuments without reference to Israel.  Palestinian textbooks are famous for their anti-Semitism, and entire generations of children are brought up to hate Jews.
In other words, they still haven’t given up the dream of destroying Israel.
The pattern of American foreign aid now becoming clear:  We borrow billions from China to subsidize and even prop up regimes that defy us at every turn.
Egypt and the Palestinian Authority defy the U.S., beg for money (with the implicit threat that conditions will grow even worse if aid is withheld), then defy the U.S. again.  That’s not an alliance; that’s a protection racket.
Defy, beg, and defy some more – all while Americans tighten their belts here at home, and we’re led to believe that there’s not enough money even for tours of the White House.
Two weeks ago, Senator Marco Rubio introduced an Amendment requiring that explicit conditions be placed on aid to Muslim Brotherhood-led Egypt, and – critically – these conditions required that the government of Egypt take concrete actions, not merely make promises.
Similar conditions should be placed on all U.S. aid, not just aid to Egypt. Let’s sequester terrorists before we sequester Americans.  It makes no sense to continue funding hostile governments.
And, it’s past time for America to call the Palestinian’s bluff.  There should be only one path to American aid – the path to peace.
Twice in the last twenty years the Israeli government has offered to establish a Palestinian homeland with a capital in East Jerusalem, and twice the Palestinians have rejected that deal – once with guns, rockets, and suicide bombs.
Before the Palestinian Authority gets a single dime from American taxpayers, it must give up its dream of destroying Israel – in words and deeds, to the world and – crucially – to its own people.  Stop teaching hate.  Sever all ties with the terrorist thugs of Hamas.  Come to the peace table without preconditions and without even a thought of destroying the nation of Israel.
In other words, act like an ally.  Then, we’ll think about aid.
